In order for any Sire (herein "Dog") or Dam (herein "Bitch") to be awarded these titles, they must be O.F.A. or O.V.C. certified (hips and elbows**), with a copy of their O.F.A. or O.V.C. certificates to be sent to the National Conformation Director. RX is for dogs/bitches whose progeny have been awarded WGSDCII™ Championship titles and have WGSDCII™ champion points; RO is for dogs/bitches whose progeny have been awarded obedience titles; RXO is for dogs/bitches who have earned both the RX and RO titles. Points are earned by the progeny of each Dog and Bitch.
RX A Dog must have five (5) or more progeny earning points from championship pointed shows for him; three (3) progeny must have a WGSDCII™ Champion Title or a Register of Excellence ("RX") title, two (2) must have points from championship pointed shows, two (2) of these five (5) must also have OFA/OVC certified clean hips. A Bitch must have four (4) or more progeny earnings points from championship pointed shows for her; two (2) progeny must have a WGSDCII™ Champion Title or a Register of Excellent ("RX") title, two (2) must have points from championship pointed shows, two (2) of these four (4) must also have OFA/OVC certified clean hips. DOGS are required to have 150 or more points; BITCHES are required to have 100 or more points. RX points are earned by the progeny of each Dog and Bitch according to the following list:

Certification 15 points RO A Dog must have three (3) or more progeny earning a CDX*** or TDX or Certified Service Dog titles for him; or two (2) with CDX's or TDX's or Certified Service Dog titles and two (2) with CD titles. A Bitch must have two (2) or more progeny earning a CDX or TDX or Certified Service Dog titles for her; or one (1) progeny with a CDX or TDX or Certified Service Dog titles and two (2) with CD titles. DOGS are required to have 60 or more points; BITCHES are required to have 40 or more points. RO points are earned by the progeny of each Dog and Bitch according to the following list:

*An SRX, SRO and SRXO systems exist for standard colored German Shepherd Dogs. These dogs are given points for any white progeny (adopted in 1988; modified June, 1993 to include SRO).
**Elbow requirement effective September, 1993. This is NOT retroactive and does not apply to dogs/bitches who have died prior to this date. Dogs/bitches that began earning points in the RX system prior to 9/93 and who were born after January, 1990, are required to have certified elbows.
***Effective 1987, UKC obedience titles will be accepted towards an RO, retroactively.
