ADVERTISING PRINCIPLES:   This Directory promotes and expects fairness in all buyer/seller relationships.  If problems arise, the seller should be contacted immediately and provided with all pertinent facts.  Please DO NOT conclude dishonesty until the matter has been discussed thoroughly.   For protection of both buyer and seller, all terms should be in writing in advance.   Buyers: Do not purchase a puppy to be shipped under 8 weeks of age.  Unless otherwise specified, buyer pays shipping charges.   Seller: Should provide a 4 generation pedigree and AKC papers.  Vaccinations should be up to date and a health certificate and shot record should accompany the dog/puppy.  Since not all breeders have puppies available year-round, it is suggested that you contact a breeder first about reserving a puppy from a future litter.  Stud fees are customarily paid in advance.  (Suggested questions for prospective buyers to ask:  OFA/OVC on hips/elbows; von Willebrand's Disease testing; temperament certification or testing; puppy socialization/aptitude testing; titles (e.g., obedience, herding, etc.) or WGSDCII Champion dogs in pedigree; years experience in White German Shepherds, etc.). Also, be sure your puppy/dog is registered and/or registerable as a GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG with any and all registries.
